WEBAC 155 – is a ready-to-use material. It is one-component (does not require catalysts or accelerators) and does not require pre-dosing or mixing. Within approximately 2 minutes after contact with water or moisture, WEBAC 155 expands to about 20–25 times its original volume. Contact with water (including drinking water) is necessary to initiate the foaming and curing process. After reaction, WEBAC 155 forms a flexible foam with a sealed surface membrane. To achieve full watertightness of the structure, WEBAC 155 can be injected either on its own or in combination with constant-volume WEBAC polyurethane resins (e.g. WEBAC 1401, WEBAC 1403P).

Аpplication:

  • Stopping pressurised seepage flows through construction joints and cracks in concrete, brick, and stone masonry.
  • Sealing moving and static cracks and construction joints with crack widths from 0.15 mm and above.
  • Sealing masonry structures (installation of horizontal waterproofing).
  • Sealing penetrations of engineering services.

Properties:

  • Upon contact with water, the resin foams intensively and transforms into a compact, flexible polymer structure.
  • Contact with water is a prerequisite for both foaming and curing processes.
  • The material is characterised by increased flexibility and high adhesion to concrete and smooth surfaces (including PVC).
  • Suitable for use in structures in contact with drinking water.

Mixing:

Before use, the material must be thoroughly stirred. Injection of WEBAC 155 is carried out using a single-component injection pump.

Completion of injection:

  • After completion of injection and full curing of WEBAC 155, the injection packers must be removed.
  • The drilled injection holes must be sealed with a suitable repair mortar.

Cleaning:

In the event of long interruptions or after completion of work, the equipment must be thoroughly cleaned using WEBAC Reiniger A. WEBAC® Reiniger B may be used to remove already cured material (not intended for flushing the pump). During cleaning, adequate ventilation of the working area must be ensured. For long-term storage of equipment, the preservative WEBAC K must be used.

Storage:

WEBAC 155 must be stored at temperatures from +5 °C to +30 °C in the original, tightly closed containers, protected from moisture.

Safety measures:

Safety instructions must be available to all persons responsible for occupational safety, health, and safe handling of materials. Processing and cleaning operations must be carried out using personal protective equipment, including protective clothing, gloves, and safety goggles. The use of protective skin cream is recommended. In case of skin contact, wash the material off with soap and water. If the material gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention without delay.

Waste disposal:

Empty containers may be disposed of at municipal solid waste landfills in accordance with applicable acceptance requirements and conditions. Return of containers to the manufacturer or shipping warehouses is not provided.
