WEBAC 1500 – is a two-component hybrid polyurethane resin characterised by a dual sealing action, depending on the application conditions. In a moist environment and upon contact with water, WEBAC
1500 behaves like a foaming polyurethane resin: the material expands rapidly and intensively, with a volumetric expansion factor of up to 12 times, forming an elastic structure. In dry conditions, WEBAC 1500 functions as a watertight, constant-volume resin, ensuring long-term and permanent sealing. In the presence of active water leakage after the primary injection, a secondary injection of WEBAC 1500 is recommended in order to achieve final and stable watertightness.
Application:
- Stopping and sealing water leaks through cracks, construction and movement joints, aswell as through brick and stone masonry.
- Filling voids and cavities in concrete and reinforced concrete structures.
- Soil consolidation in the injection zone.
- Installation of horizontal barriers against capillary rising damp, including in structureswith a high degree of moisture.
Properties:
The material has low viscosity. The mixing ratio of the components is 1:1 by volume. Upon contact with water, the material rapidly foams and cures, forming a compact, dense, and elastic foam-like structure.
- Rapid volumetric expansion and formation of a dense, flexible foam structure;
- Universal applicability for injection works.
Mixing:
Components A and B are mixed in a 1:1 ratio by volume. A singlecomponent pump is used for injection works.
Completion of injection:
After 24 hours from completion of injection, the packers must be removed and the holes must be sealed with a suitable repair mortar.
Cleaning:
In the event of long interruptions or after completion of work, the equipment must be thoroughly cleaned using WEBAC Reiniger A. WEBAC® Reiniger B may be used to remove already cured material (not intended for flushing the pump). Adequate ventilation of the working area must be ensured during cleaning. For long-term storage of equipment, the preservative WEBAC K must be used. When using a two-component pump, flush the mixing head with Component A during short interruptions.
Storage:
WEBAC 1500 must be stored at temperatures from +5 °C to +30 °C in the original, tightly closed containers, protected from moisture.
Safety measures:
Safety instructions must be available to all persons responsible for occupational safety, health, and safe handling of materials. Processing and cleaning operations must be carried out using personal protective equipment, including protective clothing, gloves, and safety goggles. The use of protective skin cream is recommended. In case of skin contact, wash off with soap and water. If the material gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention without delay.
Waste disposal
Empty containers may be disposed of at municipal solid waste landfills in accordance with applicable acceptance requirements and conditions. Return of containers to the manufacturer or shipping warehouses is not provided.
